PUTNAM COUNTY- The Indiana Department of Transportation announces a temporary lane closure just west of Stilesville.
Beginning on or after Monday, August 5, crews will close the right westbound lane on U.S. 40 between State Road 240 and S.R. 75. Bridge work, including cleaning, painting, and scour protection, will also take place during this time.
Work is expected to last until October but is weather permitting and subject to change.
INDOT encourages all drivers to use caution in this and all work zones while buckling up and putting their phones down.
