STATEHOUSE — State Sen. Eric Koch (R-Bedford) was reappointed to the Probate Code Study Committee by Senate President Pro Tem Rodric Bray (R-Martinsville).
The committee studies and considers needed changes to the probate code, trust code, and any other statute affecting the administration of a decedent’s estate, guardianship, probate jurisdiction, trust, or fiduciary.
Legislators will meet over the summer and fall to discuss topics approved by the bipartisan Legislative Council, which is comprised of 16 voting members—eight from the Senate and eight from the House of Representatives.

Senator Koch serves as chair of the Senate Committee on Utilities and is an attorney with the Koch Law Firm P.C.
