Ladies For Liberty to perform in Orleans Saturday Night

ORLEANS – The popular musical group Ladies for Liberty will perform a FREE Concert in the Park in Orleans this Saturday, August 3. The concert will begin at 7:00 p.m. and be held in the southwest corner of Historic Congress Square at Bicentennial Stage

Attendees are encouraged to bring their lawn chairs, as seating in the park is limited.

In the event of rain, the concert may be moved indoors to Unity Hall, located directly behind the Orleans Christian Church on the corner of Maple and Jackson Streets.

Ladies for Liberty have been known for their renditions of the 1940s, WWII, 1950s Korean War Era, and 1960s Vietnam War Era music. They are presenting this program of the Andrew Sisters style of music through their rendition of vocals, costumes, hairstyles, and the spirit of patriotism reminiscent of the 1940s and 1950s.

The group has been honored to attend and perform for the D-day Anniversaries four times in Normandy, France.

The Orleans Chamber of Commerce, Historic Orleans, and Springs Valley Bank & Trust sponsor the Free Summer Concert in the Park series.
