CLAY CO – The Indiana Department of Transportation announces alternating single-lane closures that will be coming to State Road 59 in Clay County near Carbon.
Beginning on or after Thursday, August 1, crews will begin work between County Road 1450 North and County Road 1400 North. Bridge maintenance will be done over the CSX railway during the lane closures.
Work is expected to last until late September but is weather permitting and subject to change.
INDOT encourages all drivers to use caution and prioritize worker safety while traveling through this and all other work zones.
