BEDFORD – Dollens Elementary School will be implementing new procedures for morning student drop-off, according to a SchoolReach call scheduled for this evening at 6:00 p.m.
The changes are outlined in a document available on the school’s website at the following link: https://dollens.northlawrencecommunityschools.org/ as of 6:00 p.m. tonight.
Student drop-off will now take place in the main lot along the designated RED line from 7:40 AM to 8:15 a.m. Drivers are instructed to stay left in the lane.
The cafeteria will be available for students to wait from 7:40 a.m. to 7:55 a.m. under supervision. Parents opting for this drop-off should use the first crosswalk for Entry 3 (cafeteria).
All car riders and students using the crosswalk will enter the school through Entry 3.
Buses will continue to use the designated bus lane in the right hand side of the lot. Drivers are reminded not to block the bus lane and to always yield for buses.
