Carolyn Beal, 77, of Bloomington, passed away on Thursday, August 15, 2024, at IU Health Methodist Hospital in Indianapolis.
She was born in Bedford on March 9, 1947, to Tony Clovis Rogers and Thelma (Hillenburg) Rogers Glasgow. Carolyn married Jackson Beal on December 2, 1963, and he survives. Carolyn worked at RCA in Bloomington for 35 years.
Survivors include her husband, Jackson Beal, of Bloomington, and one son, Tony (Valerie) Beal, of Alabama; grandchildren, Mila Beal of Louisville, Thomas Fleck of Indianapolis, and Blake Beal of Merritt Island, Florida; and one sister, Linda Tumey, of Bedford.
She was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers, James Rogers and Kenneth Rogers, and two sisters, Eldena Lagle and Connie Stansbury Mathis.
Funeral services will be on Friday, August 23, 2024, at 1:00 p.m. at Cresthaven Funeral Home, with Pastor Millard Jones officiating. Burial will follow in Cresthaven Memory Gardens. Visitation will be on Thursday, August 22nd, from 4:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
