CLARK/JACKSON/SCOTT COUNTY — Indiana Department of Transportation contractor Midwestern Electric, LLC. plans to conduct temporary nighttime lane closures on I-65 beginning on or after Tuesday, August 27, to complete guardrail installation work in Clark, Jackson, and Scott Counties. Weather permitting, the work is expected to take up to two nights.
The lane closures are currently scheduled as follows:
- Tuesday, August 27, from 9 p.m. to 1 a.m. (weather permitting): The right lane of northbound I-65 will close approximately 2.5 miles south of Henryville at mile marker 17.5 in Clark County.
- Wednesday, August 28, from 2 a.m. to 6 a.m. (weather permitting): The right lane of northbound I-65 will close approximately 2.5 miles north of Austin at mile marker 35.5 in Scott County.
- Wednesday, August 28, from 9 p.m. to 1 a.m. (weather permitting): The right lane of southbound I-65 will close approximately 2.5 miles north of Crothersville at mile marker 38.5 in Jackson County.
