LYONS- The Greene County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a personal injury accident on Friday, August 23rd, 2024, at the Schied’s Diesel Extravaganza at Wagler’s Motorsports in Lyons, IN. At
At approximately 7:15 p.m., Switz City Fire Department members advised the Greene County Sheriff’s Dispatch of a vehicle accident involving four injured people.
Once Greene County Sheriff’s Deputies were on scene, Deputies were told that a Jeep, being used as a pit vehicle, was driven out of the truck pull staging area into the crowd, striking three pedestrians, a side-by-side, a track rake, and another vehicle before rolling over onto its side. The three pedestrians and the driver of the Jeep were transported to hospitals in critical condition.
