BEDFORD – A Bedford man is facing serious charges of child molestation, a Level 1 felony, following an investigation by the Bedford Police Department.
Officers arrested 29-year-old Clarence Pousson.
According to a probable cause affidavit, police received a call from a Williams woman on Sunday, August 4, at 2:21 p.m. The woman reported that in 2021, she and her two young children were living at Jackson’s Trailer Court on 30th Street in Bedford. At the time, Pousson was responsible for looking after her children, who were just five and three years old.
The woman expressed concern over recent changes in her children’s behaviors. On Friday, August 2, the little girl revealed that Pousson had made her perform sexual acts on him and that he had done things to her, too. Pousson told her not to tell.
On August 12, the children participated in a forensic interview at Susie’s Place, where the girl recounted the incidents in detail.
The following day, police interviewed Pousson. Initially, he denied everything. But as the interrogation continued, he finally told police the incident did happen.
