BLOOMINGTON – Flynn’s Produce has been a fixture at the Bloomington Community Farmers’ Market since 2008.
The Bloomington Community Farmers’ Market is Saturday at Showers Commons, 401 North Morton Street, from 8:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m.
John Flynn sells beans, tomatoes, broccoli, ramps, maple syrup, wild mushrooms, wild berries, paw-paws, persimmons, Elderberry syrup, jams, and jellies.
As a day-stall vendor, John prefers to set up his farm stand in the middle aisle of the Farmers’ Market stalls.
Jim Baughman of Freedom Valley Farms is a reserved stall vendor who began selling at the Bloomington Community Farmers’ Market in 2012.
He uses innovative techniques as a four-season grower of fine, naturally cultivated vegetables, fruits, and other produce.
Music at the Market
This Saturday, The Joe Friedman Trio comprises jazz students at Jacobs School of Music (Joe Friedman – Trumpet, Nolan Phillips – Bass, Nathaniel Jimenez – Piano).
They’ll play classics and original compositions. Their two-set performance on the Market’s circular stage begins at 9:30 a.m. and 10:45 a.m.
Where to Park at the Market
Parking along Morton Street’s curb is limited to the six accessible spaces marked with signage and cones.
