BEDFORD- It’s time for the beloved Claude Akins Memorial Golf Classic at Otis Park in Bedford. Play commences at 7:15 a.m., with afternoon rounds at 1:15 p.m. on Saturday, August 31, and Sunday, September 1.
Dozens of teams, totaling many hundreds of players, are participating, all vying for the coveted title of Claude Akins Memorial Golf Classic Champion and a share of over $30,000 in prizes. Teams comprised of the who’s who of area golfers will play right alongside more “relaxed” participants as everyone is out to enjoy beautiful Otis Park and some friendly competition.
