  1. A morning session for healthcare professionals, offering continuing education and continuing medical education credits.
  2. An afternoon session for community members focusing on practical skills for supporting individuals living with dementia.

Diana Matthews, IU Health Community Health Alzheimer’s and Dementia Resource Service Project Director, emphasized the event’s importance: “We’re excited to offer this opportunity in our community for the loved ones of people living with dementia and caregivers. All are welcome to learn and grow, and even find joy along the way, as we look at Alzheimer’s disease through a different lens.”

The afternoon presentation aims to equip attendees with strategies to turn challenging situations into moments of joy, helping individuals with dementia feel heard and supported.
