Ronald ‘Fuzzy’ M. Cummings, 78, of Bedford, passed away at his residence on Sunday, September 15, 2024.
Born July 8, 1946, in Bedford, he was the son of Roy R. “Cricket” and Mildred “Smokey” Watson Cummings. He graduated from Bedford High School with the class of 1963 and Indiana State. He married Tammy Apple, and she preceded him in death. He retired as an outdoor recreational manager at King’s Bay Base in Georgia. He was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force and a member of Gillen Post #33 American Legion.
Survivors include two sisters, Patsy Becker of Bedford and Cara Cummings of OK; a brother, Tom Cummings of AZ; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, and his beloved dog, Macy.
Visitation will be from 9:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, September 18th, at the Day & Carter Mortuary. Memorial contributions may be made to the White River Humane Society or the American Lung Association.
