Seymour Officer recognized at Traffic Safety All-Star Awards at Lucas Oil Stadium

SEYMOUR- Established in 2020, the Traffic Safety All-Star awards program was created by the Indiana Criminal Justice Institute to recognize law enforcement officers who go above and beyond to keep road users and their communities safe.

To qualify for an award, an officer must have made significant accomplishments during the state’s enhanced enforcement campaigns in the previous year.

This year, Seymour Police Detective Chris Franklin was chosen as a Traffic Safety All-Star Award winner for his work in one of the traffic safety subcategories. Detective Franklin, along with Seymour Chief of Police Greg O’Brien, attended a banquet at Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis to recognize his accomplishments in traffic safety. During the banquet, Detective Franklin was presented with an Indianapolis Colts Football by retired Indianapolis Colts placekicker Adam Vinatieri, which contained the placekicker’s autograph.
