Kevin Lee Robbins, 56, of Bedford, passed away Tuesday, October 1, 2024.
Kevin was born July 10, 1968, in Bedford, the son of Irvan Robbins and Reva (Baker) Mundy. He worked as a laborer at Local Union 741. Kevin was a woodworker and a caregiver to his mother and stepfather. He loved his grandsons, who referred to him as papaw fireball.
Surviving to cherish the memory of Kevin are his daughter, Ashley Nachol Robbins; two stepdaughters, Hevan Young and Shawnee Brooks; mother, Reva (Hayden) Mundy; four brothers, Irvan (Betty) Robbins Jr., Allen Robbins, Martin Robbins, and Faron (Shelly) Robbins; four sisters, Tresa (Leonard) Coots, Janie Robbins, Michelle (David) Gibson, and Tammy Robbins; two grandsons, Wyatt, and Waylon Sowders; and several aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Kevin was preceded in death by his father, Irvan Robbins, and several aunts and uncles. Visitation for Kevin will be held from 3:00 p.m. until 5:0 p.m. on Wednesday, October 9, at the Ferguson-Lee Chapel of Thorne-George Family Funeral Homes. Cremation will follow.
