Seymour Police turn 911 call into a lesson: Officer helps local student with homework

SEYMOUR—The 911 dispatch center regularly receives “accidental dial” 911 phone calls, whether from a pocket dial, kids playing with phones, or weather-related issues.

Seymour Police officers responded to an address on Brown Street for a 911 call that pinged at this residence. After arriving, officers began investigating whether there was an emergency. Come to find out, no lives were in danger—however, a young lady was having difficulty with her homework. Officer Chris Knight stuck around to help her chip away at her word search puzzle.
