JASPER – The Bedford North Lawrence Marching Stars earned gold at the ISSMA Scholastic Prelims Invitational help in Jasper on Saturday, October 5.
The Marching Stars competed in Scholastic Class A performing their show titled “X Marks the Spot”.
Now, the Marching Stars will travel to Franklin Central High School on October 19, 2024, to compete in the ISSMA Scholastic finals Class A. Fifteen schools are competing with the Marching Stars. The performances for Class A begin at 5:46 p.m., and the Marching Stars perform in the 15th spot at 9:01 p.m.
The Marching Stars’ gold-earning show contains music from “Seven Nation Army” and “Come Sail Away,” with solos by Sebastian Hood and Lilliann Livingston. They will perform this show at halftime of the BNL football game on October 18th. This is also senior night, honoring the 13 marching star seniors.
