BEDFORD—Lawrence County Clerk Amy Voorhies requested permission during this morning’s commissioner meeting to purchase Wi-Fi for the expo building at the fairgrounds.
The wifi is needed for the voting machines on November 5.
Voorhies will purchase the needed equipment from KNOWINK for $665. The money is in her supply budget and will not cost the county additional funds.
The commissioner approved her request.
