Obituary: Anah Williams-Hall

May 23, 1935 – October 6, 2024

Anah Annette Williams-Hall, 89. of Bedford, passed away on Sunday, October 6, 2024, at StoneBridge Health Campus in Bedford.

She was born to Forrest and Zona Craig in Lawrence County on May 23, 1935. She was of the Christian faith. She married Rev. Dean Williams in 1954 and was a minister’s wife for 30 years. He preceded her in death in 1990. She later married Leonard Hall, who preceded her in death in 2012. Her parents and eight siblings also preceded her in death: Victor Craig (in infancy), Audra ‘Shorty’ Craig, Edwin ‘Cap’ Craig, Donald Craig, Vince “Cotton” Craig, Lowell Craig, Wanda Craig, and Norma Terry.

She is survived by three children:  Robert Dennis Williams, Leasa (Gary) Hall, and Cheryl (Dallas) Bolton. Anah was the proud “Mamo” of six grandchildren:  Kyle (Adna) Hall, Heather dela Cruz, Ashley (Keith) Hayes, Audra Bolton, Kent (Kaci) Hall and Deanah (Tanner) Conolty.  She had fifteen great-grandchildren. Her sisters, Doris “Pug” Conner and Viola “Lou” Waggoner, also survive.

The family will hold a private visitation. Graveside services for family and friends will be held on Wednesday, October 9, at 11:30 at Silverville Missionary Baptist Church. Grandson Kyle Hall will be officiating.
