To help young adults get off to a strong start, German American offers credit-building programs for those 18 and older. Zarod Meyers, Branch Manager at the Bedford German American location said, “There is such a need for financial awareness among young people, the earlier they can start, the better.”

German American partnered with BNL to offer its ‘School Spirit Check Card,’ which automatically donates $0.02 each time it is used. The card is available to new or existing German American clients. To top off the day, the bank presented a $1,000 check to the school. “As a whole, German American Bank has donated over $107,000 through the School Spirit program to schools throughout the region,” Meyers added, “the schools receive a check quarterly.”

Thank you, German American Bank, for supporting our local youth and making a difference in our community.
