Need entertainment for Fall break? Bedford Parks Department’s Fall Fun Day has you covered

BEDFORD-Join the Bedford Parks Department next Thursday from 10 a.m. – 2 p.m. for the annual Fall Fun Day! Located at the Thornton Park Pavilion, there will be food, music, and plenty of activities to take part in. This event is free to the public.

“We wanted to put something on for kids with nothing to do on fall break, put something fun on for everyone,” said Parks Department recreational director Isaiah Moore. Whether it is car shows or pickleball tournaments, the Parks Department provides safe and wholesome events for our community.

A cookout of hamburgers and hot dogs will begin at 11:00, courtesy of Bedford Federal Savings Bank, and again, it is absolutely free! The Bedford Police Department, Bedford Fire Department, Parks Department, Forest Service, and more will set up many booths. Look for entertaining games like putt-putt golf and cornhole or fun art activities!

If you are interested in participating in this community event by hosting a booth, contact the Parks Department at 812-275-5692.
