Hope Resource Center seeks matching gifts for annual dinner

BEDFORD – The Hope Resource Center, a local non-profit organization, is celebrating its 35th anniversary of providing essential services to the Lawrence County community. Established in 1988, the center has been a beacon of hope for individuals and families facing various challenges.

Over the past three decades, Hope Resource Center has expanded its programs to offer comprehensive support, including pregnancy care, medical services, educational programs, and community outreach initiatives. The center’s mission is to guide, empower, and equip individuals through confidential, compassionate, and professional services.

The Hope Resource Center is seeking matching gifts to raise $50,000 for its annual dinner on Nov. 8. The funds will support the center’s mission of providing services to community members in need.

Executive Director April Haskett is personally inviting supporters to contribute to the Matching Gift Fund, which will double the impact of donations during the dinner. The goal is to encourage greater generosity and ensure that the event has a significant impact on the community.

“Your support means the world to us,” Haskett said. “We would be honored to have you play this pivotal role in the success of our dinner.”

Donors can make a one-time gift of at least $2,500 or spread it out over 12 months. The matching funds will inspire others to contribute generously, knowing that their donations will be doubled.
