BLOOMINGTON—Blooming Neighborhoods, an annual celebration co-hosted by the City of Bloomington, Housing and Neighborhood Development (HAND), and the Council of Neighborhood Associations (CONA), is an opportunity for neighborhood groups to network, share, and celebrate neighborhood accomplishments.
Saturday, October 19, 2024, 10 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.
10:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. Tabling on the terraces (outside)
11:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. What’s Good in Your Neighborhood? (inside)
The event begins at 10 am on the terraces in front of City Hall for a tabling event and networking opportunity for neighborhood groups and community partners. Don’t forget to bring your organization sign or banner, photos, flyers, newsletters, brochures, etc., to feature on your table.
At 11:30 a.m., everything will move inside to the Council Chambers, where neighborhood groups will each have an opportunity to give a brief oral presentation (no more than two minutes) to share What’s Good in Your Neighborhood? Talk about your group’s events, activities, and initiatives, and your neighborhood will be entered into a drawing for a chance to win $100, courtesy of CONA!
Each participating group is furnished with a table and chairs. Additionally, neighborhood groups will be provided with a map of their neighborhood and a list of HAND grants received over the years.
