FORT WAYNE – Today, Rep. Jim Banks (IN-03) announced he will receive the Indiana Farm Bureau’s ‘Friend of Farm Bureau’ Award on Tuesday, October 29.
The ‘Friend of Farm Bureau’ award is awarded to members of Congress who have supported farmers on policy issues, as demonstrated by their voting records and were nominated by their respective state Farm Bureaus and approved by the American Farm Bureau Board of Directors.
The event will be held at the Indiana Farm Bureau President Randy Kron’s Farm at 17425 Owensville Rd, Evansville, at 2:00 p.m. CT.
Congressman Jim Banks and Indiana Farm Bureau President Randy Kron will be in attendance.
