BEDFORD – Calling all young artists and crafters! The Purdue Extension-Lawrence County office is excited to announce the launch of its Let’s Craft Workshop Series, a unique opportunity for youth to explore their creativity and connect with fellow crafting enthusiasts. This series is open to students in grades 3-12, including 4-H members and non-members.
Kicking off in November, the workshops will take place monthly from November through May and feature a variety of hands-on projects. Participants can look forward to sessions covering gift wrapping, crocheting, tie-dying, scrapbooking, and painting—ensuring that there’s something for everyone, regardless of experience level.

- December 10: Crochet
- January 30: Tie-Dying
- February 13: Scrapbooking

All sessions will be held at the Purdue Extension-Lawrence County office at 924 16th St., Bedford, IN 47421.
Registration Details:
- Time: Each session begins at 6 p.m.
- Fee: An initial registration fee of $5, followed by $10 per session (materials included).
Participants can expect expert guidance from passionate instructors, with all materials provided for each crafting session. This workshop series is about developing new skills, fostering friendships, and having fun in a community setting.
This initiative is designed to help youth unwind, discover new hobbies, and enjoy evenings filled with creativity and laughter. Spaces are limited, so interested individuals are encouraged to reserve their spots soon by registering online at Let’s Craft with 4-H.

4-H offers many opportunities for young people to engage in clubs, trips, and scholarships. Enrollment for the program is now open and can be completed easily via the 4HOnline system at 4HOnline. The $20 enrollment fee covers all Indiana 4-H program fees for members in grades 3-12, while Mini 4-H members (grades K-2) can enroll for just $5.
