INDIANA – Expect nightly single and double left-lane closures on eastbound and westbound I-465 in various locations between I-70 and I-65 from Monday, November 4, through Friday, November 8, from 8 p.m. to 6 a.m. Crews will complete lane shifts and pavement markings on new pavement. During these lane restrictions, 20-minute traffic stops are also possible from 11 p.m. to 4 a.m.
The eastbound I-465 exit ramp to Harding Street is now OPEN. It opened Nov. 2, allowing traffic to exit I-465 onto northbound Harding Street and providing temporary travel lanes for southbound Harding Street.
The Harding Street entrance ramp to westbound I-465 is anticipated to open by Nov. 11. Upon this opening, all Harding Street ramps will be in their permanent configurations.
Epler Avenue/SR 37 intersection reconstruction:
The eastern side of the Epler Avenue and State Road 37 intersection will close on Monday, Nov. 4.
The western side of the Epler Avenue and State Road 37 intersection will close on or after Wednesday, Nov. 6.
The entire intersection will remain closed for up to 45 days.
The Epler Avenue and Belmont Avenue intersection will remain OPEN during this closure.

A double-lane closure on eastbound I-465 between Mann Road and Harding Street will occur from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m., on Thursday, Nov. 7, to allow crews a safe working environment while shifting traffic onto new permanent pavement and adding pavement markings.
Anticipate a single-lane condition (double-lane closure) on westbound I-465 between I-65 and Mann Road from 9 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 8, through 5 a.m. on Monday, Nov. 11, to allow crews a safe working environment while shifting lanes and adding pavement striping onto new pavement. This work will also include:
Closure of the northbound and southbound I-65 ramps to westbound I-465
Closure of the northbound US 31/East Street ramp to westbound I-465
Closure of the westbound I-465 exit ramp to Harding Street
Reminders:
- The southbound US 31/East Street entrance ramp to westbound I-465 will remain CLOSED into late 2024.
A single, left-lane closure on northbound I-69 between Banta Road and Fairview Road will restrict traffic on Thursday, Nov. 7, from 8:30 a.m. to 7 p.m. as crews complete corrugated pipe work.
The speed limit on I-69 between SR 144 and Fairview Road is 55 mph, and between Fairview Road and I-465 is 45 mph.
In Johnson and Marion counties, speed limits are still reduced throughout most of the I-69 Finish Line corridor. Please follow all posted speed limits as construction continues through 2024.
