North Daviess Schools earn state honors for Farm-to-Table and Nutrition Initiatives

ELNORA – The North Daviess School Corporation has earned two badges from the Indiana Grown for Schools Recognition Program: the “Farm Friendly School” and “Eat Smart School” badges.

North Daviess is the first school in Indiana to receive two of the three available badges, and the district anticipates earning the third badge by the end of this school year.

The “Farm Friendly School” badge is given for serving local foods twice a month, while the “Eat Smart School” badge recognizes nutrition and agriculture education programs.
