Jasper man facing charges of child molestation

JASPER — The Jasper Police Department arrested a local man on child molestation charges after an investigation into allegations involving two separate locations in Dubois County.

According to police, on Monday, November 4, officers received a report regarding a child molestation incident. Detectives immediately launched an investigation and conducted a forensic interview with the juvenile victim. Based on information gathered during that interview, law enforcement officers identified the suspect as 31-year-old Kyle Truelove of Jasper.

Jasper Police Detectives located Truelove at his residence and brought him in for questioning. After conducting the interview, they placed Truelove under arrest. He faces two counts of child molestation.

The Dubois County Department of Child Services is assisting in the ongoing investigation.

Those facing criminal charges are considered innocent unless convicted through due legal proceedings. Accusations alone do not imply guilt; the judicial system will evaluate the presented evidence to reach a verdict.
