LOOGOOTEE— Martin County Cancer Patient Services is hosting a special Hoosier Night event at the Loogootte Methodist Church on Tuesday, November 19, from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m.
The event will feature special guests, including Angelo Pizzo, the writer of the classic film Hoosiers, actor Brad ‘Buddy’ Long, and basketball legend Bobby Plump. Attendees can look forward to an engaging speaking program and a silent auction featuring items donated from Indiana University, Butler University, and more.
The event is free and open to the public, and donations are greatly appreciated. Proceeds will support the important work of Martin County Cancer Patient Services, which provides care and resources for those affected by cancer in the local community.
Hoosier Night will celebrate Indiana’s rich basketball history and raise funds for a vital cause. It’s an excellent opportunity for the community to come together, enjoy inspiring stories, and support those battling cancer.
Doors open at 5:00 p.m., and the program begins at 6:00 p.m. The Loogootte Methodist Church is located at 208 West Main Street, Loogootte, IN 47553. For more information, contact Martin County Cancer Patient Services.
