WASHINGTON — The Washington Police Department is investigating a theft that occurred Tuesday evening at an apartment complex on Cypress Point Drive.
At approximately 6:30 p.m., a man wearing a green mask entered the property’s mailroom and stole several packages. The suspect was seen arriving in a vehicle, suspected to be either a blue Chevrolet Cobalt or a Mitsubishi Galant.
While multiple surveillance cameras were in the area, police reported that many were either non-functional or provided limited footage, hindering their ability to capture the suspect’s actions fully. Officers review any available footage and await further analysis to help identify the individual responsible for the theft.
The Washington Police Department urges anyone with information about the incident or who may have seen anything suspicious in the area to contact them.
