MITCHELL-Mitchell’s Christmas Lighting Contest is here! It’s time to deck the halls, light up your home, and spread holiday cheer throughout the community. Submit your entries by December 11 to be part of the festive fun. Judging will occur on December 14, so make sure your decorations shine bright! The winner will be announced on WBIW’s website and receive a 2025 Spring Mill Park pass, perfect for enjoying the beauty of nature year-round. Let your creativity sparkle this holiday season. Nominations must be in the Mitchell School District and submitted to the Chamber office by December 11th. Please include the following:
- The name of the homeowner
- Address and driving directions
- Short description of the display
Participants may enter their own homes or nominate someone else’s home for consideration. Email mitchellchamber@frontier.com or call 812-849-4441 by December 11th and leave a message with the required information.
During the judging, nominees are asked to have their outdoor decorations fully displayed from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on December 14th.
