BLOOMFIELD – United Way of South Central Indiana shared the incredible growth and impact of Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library in Greene, Lawrence, Orange, and Owen counties.
This program provides free, high-quality books to children from birth to age 5, sparking a love for reading and building strong foundations for early literacy.
Over 48,000 books were distributed. Since its launch, the regional Imagination Library has delivered thousands of books, opening up new worlds for young readers. Earlier this year, we expanded into Greene and Owen counties, bringing the joy of books to even more families.
Nearly 2,000 children are currently enrolled. Thanks to community partnerships, generous donations, and local support, this program is helping prepare young learners for success in school and beyond.
