KNOX CO. – The Indiana Department of Transportation announces a road closure for U.S. 50 in Knox County.
Beginning on or around Tuesday, December 3, crews will close the westbound lanes of U.S. 50 in Knox County near the Daviess County line. This closure will occur between Bottom Road and the White River.
This road closure is for a culvert replacement project. During routine maintenance operations, it was discovered that the pipe under U.S. 50 needed replacement. Depending on the weather, the work is expected to take a week to complete.
The official detour for this project is State Road 57 to State Road 61 to State Road 241. Local traffic will have access up to the point of closure.
