ORLEANS – Get ready for some festive fun at the 10th Annual Orleans Santa Hat Run/Walk, which will take place on Saturday, December 14th, at 5:15 p.m. This exciting event is in conjunction with the town’s Christmas on the Square celebration.
Participants will gather at the historic Congress Square near the Bandstand in Orleans at 5:15 p.m. The event starts with a special appearance by Santa, who will lead the race parade to start the festivities! Be sure to wear your most festive Santa hat—this event celebrates the holiday season in the most cheerful way possible.
This year’s Santa Hat Run/Walk is a free and family-friendly event sponsored by the Orleans Chamber of Commerce. It’s an excellent opportunity for participants of all ages to enjoy the holiday spirit while getting some exercise. The route will take you along the sidewalks, lit by lamps, so you can choose your own pace and distance. Everyone is welcome to join in whether you want to walk or run.
Please note that a parent must accompany the children. The more participants, the merrier, so spread the word to fill the streets with a “Sea of Santa Red” as you make your way through Orleans for a festive and fun-filled evening.
