WASHINGTON – A Washington teen was arrested Wednesday morning after a state trooper observed his vehicle stopped in the middle of US 50, obstructing traffic.
The incident occurred near Washington when 19-year-old Quan Boyd was seen causing traffic disruption.
Police say Boyd exhibited visible signs of impairment, prompting the trooper to investigate further. Boyd was taken to Daviess Community Hospital for a chemical test. Following the test, he was arrested and charged with operating a vehicle while intoxicated and possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia.
Those facing criminal charges are considered innocent unless convicted through due legal proceedings. Accusations alone do not imply guilt; the judicial system will evaluate the presented evidence to reach a verdict.
