MONTGOMERY—The Montgomery Ruritan Club is set to host two exciting shooting matches at the Ruritan grounds in January. The events will take place on Sunday, January 5th, and Saturday, January 26th. All participants are invited to join the competition and enjoy a day of friendly rivalry.
The matches will begin at 12:15 p.m. with the Ham and Money Rounds, followed by the Closed Beef Rounds at 2:30 p.m. The shooting contest prizes will include boxed beef for the top three winners, valued at $600, $400, and $300. Additionally, there will be ten boxed pork prizes worth $60 each.
In addition to the thrilling competition, the Montgomery Ruritan Club will offer all attendees free ham, beans, and cornbread, with soft drinks available for purchase. The event is open to all 12-gauge shooters, but no carry-in shells are permitted.
