Free workshop to teach landowners how to attract deer

BLOOMFIELD — Landowners interested in attracting more deer to their property are invited to a free workshop on December 19, 2024, from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. The workshop will be held at the Greene County Fairgrounds, located at 4503 W State Road 54 in Bloomfield, Indiana.

The workshop will cover a variety of topics related to deer habitat management, including:

  • Benefits of food plots
  • Site selection for food plots
  • Key habitat elements for deer
  • Best plant choices for food plots
  • Enhancing biodiversity in deer habitat
  • Seasonal plot management
