Four Indiana State Police Troopers recognized for service

JASPER – Master Troopers Ryan Conrad, Brian LaRoche, Trey Lytton, and Timothy Weisenberger have been recognized by Indiana State Police Superintendent Douglas Carter for achieving 25 years of service to the Indiana State Police.

These Troopers graduated as members of the 58th Indiana State Police Recruit School in December 1999.

Master Trooper Ryan Conrad

Master Trooper Detective Conrad was assigned to the Versailles District after first attending Vincennes University with a degree in Conservation Law Enforcement. While in the Versailles district, Trooper Conrad patrolled Ripley and Switzerland County. In 2001 Trooper Conrad transferred to Jasper District and patrolled Crawford County until 2020 when he received a permanent position as Detective. Trooper Conrad has been a member of TIP (Riot Team), Meth Task Force, Department General Instructor, Photogrammetry for Crash Reconstructions, Homicide Investigator, and was an FTO (Field Training Officer) for 18 years. Trooper Conrad lives in Crawford County with his wife, Crystal, and three sons.

Master Trooper Brian LaRoche

Master Trooper Brian LaRoche spent two and a half years in the Army and five and a half years in the National Guard. Trooper LaRoche was assigned to the Connersville District after first attending Vincennes University with a Law Enforcement Degree. While in Connersville District, Trooper LaRoche patrolled Union County. In 2001, Trooper LaRoche transferred to the Jasper District. Trooper LaRoche has a Life Saving Award and two Meritorious Service Awards. Trooper LaRoche was a K-9 Officer for 10 years, was assigned to the Drug Enforcement Section for 8 years as an interdiction officer, was a member of TIP, an FTO, was an employee of the quarter twice, and was a Sergeant for three and a half years. Trooper LaRoche also led the Jasper District in OWI’s five years in a row. Trooper LaRoche lives in Dubois County with his wife Cathy and two daughters.

Master Trooper Trey Lytton

Master Trooper Trey Lytton was assigned to the Versailles District after attending the University of Evansville and the University of Southern Indiana. While in Versailles District, Trooper Lytton patrolled Ripley and Jefferson Counties. In 2001, Trooper Lytton transferred to the Jasper District, where he patrols Spencer and Perry Counties. Trooper Lytton is a Photogrammetry Crash Investigator, FTO, and District Drug Officer, was on the TIP Team, and was an All Crimes Police Team Leader. Trooper Lytton has also received a Life Saving Award and a Commendation Award. Trooper Lytton lives in Spencer County with his wife and two children.

Master Trooper Tim Weisenberger

Master Trooper Tim Weisenberger was assigned to the Versailles District after graduating from Vincennes University. While in Versailles District, Trooper Weisenberger patrolled Dearborn County. In 2001, Trooper Weisenberger transferred to the Jasper District, where he primarily patrols Orange County. Trooper Weisenberger was an FTO on the TIP Team in the High-Performance Vehicle Unit for 11 years and was a Counselor for the 67th and 68th Recruit School. Trooper Weisenberger lives in Orange County with his wife and son.
