BEDFORD- The Bedford Board of Works and Safety met last night at StoneGate Arts and Education Center, and Fire Chief Luke Pinnick asked the board to approve the permanent status of three department employees. Promotions were awarded on six-month probationary periods, and according to Chief Pinnick, all three firefighters met or exceeded expectations in their assigned duties. The following promotions were unanimously approved by the board:
- Isaac T. Crane to Senior Firefighter
- John T. Porter to Lieutenant
- Dane N. Fountain to Lieutenant
