BEDFORD – A 70-year-old Bedford man was injured Wednesday after he crashed his moped Wednesday afternoon at the intersection of L and 17th Street.
Officers responded to the crash at 1:32 p.m.
According to Bedford Police Officer Toby Gerkin, Robert Edwards couldn’t tell him what happened.
Edwards suffered a bleeding head injury.
Officer Gerkin stated that witnesses said that Edwards was turning into a parking lot at 1702 L Street when he turned too wide. His Honda Metropolitan moped struck the curb, throwing Edwards from the moped onto the sidewalk.
