Arts Commission provides grants to each of Indiana’s 92 counties

INDIANA – Today, the Indiana Arts Commission (IAC) announced that it will award grant funding to each of Indiana’s 92 counties in 2024. In 2024, the IAC introduced the Every County Funded grant program, an invitation-only program designed to support arts programming in Indiana counties that are not currently receiving support from IAC’s core grant programs.

The Every County Funded program ensures that in every Indiana county, people and communities have access to arts experiences and is part of a suite of new IAC opportunities focused on building and supporting quality of life at the community level.

The Every County Funded program is designed to identify partners in target counties interested in strengthening arts activities in their communities. The program builds relationships, cultivates connections to other communities, grows creative activity, and provides ongoing mentorship and technical support. Each invited community could apply for up to $10,000 for a community-focused creative project or program.

“Ongoing access to arts and creativity for all of Indiana’s people and communities is a goal for the Indiana Arts Commission,” said Miah Michaelsen, IAC Executive Director. “We are incredibly proud to support quality of life by enhancing the cultural, economic, and educational climate in each Hoosier State’s 92 counties.”
