ORLEANS — The countdown is on for this year’s highly anticipated Orleans Alumni Banquet, scheduled for Saturday, June 7th, at 6:30 p.m. at Orleans High School. The banquet promises to be a special occasion, spotlighting the honor classes—those graduating in years ending in ‘5.’ This annual event is a time for alumni to reconnect and reminisce and a key moment for supporting the future of Orleans students through scholarships.
Tickets and Sales Information
Tickets for the event will go on sale starting May 1st and must be purchased in advance. Alumni are encouraged to mark their calendars, as the banquet typically sells out quickly.
Scholarship Awards and Donations
Orleans Alumni Association President Mike Magill urges alumni to support the association’s efforts to raise scholarship funds. Each year, the association awards scholarships to deserving students, and donations of any amount— memorials or other contributions—are welcomed. These donations play a crucial role in ensuring the continuation of the scholarship program, which benefits local students as they pursue their education.
“We are grateful for all the support we receive from the alumni community, and we encourage everyone to consider donating to this worthy cause,” Magill said.
Class Representatives Needed
In addition to ticket sales and donations, Class Representatives are needed for each honor class. These representatives will help coordinate with their classmates regarding the banquet and any other reunion activities planned for the weekend. Anyone interested in serving as a Class Representative is encouraged to contact the Alumni Association.
