Indiana Military & Veterans Legislative Day is January 14

STATEHOUSE – The Indiana Military & Veterans Legislative Day (IMVLD) is Tuesday, January 14 at the Indiana Statehouse.

FREE Parking is available at the Indianapolis Zoo with a shuttle bus provided by Indiana American Legion Post 64. The first shuttle leaves at 7:30 a.m., and the last leaves the statehouse at 3 p.m.

This event was founded in 2013 by dedicated veterans and community volunteers to amplify the voices of Indiana’s military community. This day brings together Indiana’s veterans, active military members, and their families with state legislators for meaningful discussions about the critical policies shaping their lives.

State Representative Pack is a member of the Democratic Veterans Affairs and Public Safety Committee.

Officials are excited to introduce this year’s Legislative Chair, State Representative Renee Pack, who takes up the mantle from Representative John L. Bartlett with passion and commitment. Representative Pack’s leadership promises to elevate IMVLD’s mission of fostering open communication and shaping impactful military and veteran-focused legislation.

Join officials as they build on a legacy of advocacy and work together for a brighter future for Indiana’s veterans.
