BLOOMINGTON—The Center for Lifelong Learning at Ivy Tech Community College Bloomington offers a new Introduction to Grant Writing skills training class in downtown Bedford, starting January 22.
The six-week class will be held Wednesday evenings at the StoneGate Arts & Education Center.
Ashlynne Bender, a local marketing specialist and community relations partner, will instruct the class. Participants will learn the fundamentals of grant writing, including searching for funding opportunities and writing a compelling proposal. They will also develop a better understanding of funding sources that may be available and how to find the best fit for projects.
The class is open to the public and is designed for beginners without grant writing experience or those who want to revisit the fundamentals to hone their writing skills. Individuals and community organization participants are welcome.
