
KNOX CO. – A Knox County man was arrested Monday afternoon after deputies responded to a report of a suspicious vehicle near a communications tower on East State Road 61.
At approximately 2:30 p.m. on February 11, deputies arrived at the scene and found 57-year-old Brian Pinkstaff allegedly cutting fiber optic wire.

Pinkstaff was taken into custody, and a subsequent search revealed illegal drugs in his possession. He was transported to the Knox County Jail and booked on multiple charges, including possession of methamphetamine, a Level 6 felony; theft, a Level 6 felony; possession of cocaine, a Level 6 felony; and criminal mischief, a Level 6 felony.
He remains in jail on a $5,000 bond.
