(COLUMBUS) – Columbus North celebrated its Senior Night with a three-set sweep of Bedford North Lawrence during high school volleyball action on Tuesday night.
The Bull Dogs blasted to a 25-7, 25-12, 25-15 triumph, ending BNL’s recent two-match run.
“We struggled with passing right off the bat,” BNL coach Jordan Robbins said. “They served aggressively and we just couldn’t handle it. Basics are the key with tough servers and we weren’t adjusting.”
Haley Deckard was 7 of 7 serving with 6 kills and 10 digs, Annie Waggoner was 5 of 5 serving with 10 digs, and Merritt Callahan had 9 assists and 7 digs for the Stars.
“Our confidence is all over the place,” Robbins said. “Once we find the right level of confidence, we compete.”
BNL (3-18) will visit White River Valley on Thursday.
