Five questions with Bedford North Lawrence senior Alaric Juhl
Sport: Track; Career choice: Sonography or radiation therapy; College: Ivy Tech
Question 1: What lessons did high school sports teach you?
Juhl: High school sports taught me to be persistent in things I care about. I learned a lot of self-discipline, both on the field and in the classroom.
Question 2: Who is your role model?
Juhl: I have two role models, which are both of my parents. They have taught me to work hard and never give up. They both supported me every year I was involved in a sport and always made it to my games and events.
Question 3: Can you describe your emotions after the season was cancelled?
Juhl: After track season was cancelled, I was very upset. I worked very hard in the off-season and was looking forward to competing.
Question 4: What will you miss the most about high school?
Juhl: The thing I will miss the most about high school is the relationships I have made. I have met most of my closest friends at BNL.
Question 5: When the current restrictions are lifted, who’s the first person you want to see?
Juhl: I want to see my grandparents. Not getting to spend time with them recently has been difficult.
